Hi!

I have been meaning to post this entry for a really long time but unfortunately, I was unable to post images. I have no idea what went wrong with onsugar. I really like how this blogging platform allow us to post images without going through a third party image hosting site. I don't trust the bandwidth of those sites. Due to my itchy fingers, I meddled around with the various posting options and suddenly I was able to post again. Haha! Naturally I should make full use of this opportunity right?

First up -> my favourite red checked halter top from flauntlabel!

(Sorry for the really grainy picture, lighting at home is terrible and I didn't have my camera with me.)
I sincerely recommend this new site http://www.flauntlabel.com/. Right now, there is only 1 collection but I genuinely hope there will be more collections to come because I really like the designs featured on the site. I really like the owner of the blogshop. I guess I better make it clear that this is not a paid advertorial. I am simply a very satisfied customer. :) The owner is extremely sincere and the quality of the top I received is excellent. Material is not flimsy at all.

Next up -> Geo Lens in WT-A05!

I could only find this picture of me wearing it. I really like how it makes my iris look so much bigger.

I used to wear the normal geo lenses and only up til a few months back did I order those 15mm ones and I am hooked. :P Not that I wear coloured lenses very often these days but whenever I get the chance to wear, I never fail to feel more confident and doll-like. Haha!

Next -> My hair saviour (my mum's too): Pantene Clinicare hair time renewal one wash treatment

I LOVE Watsons!! The store is getting really "happening"! I was really excited when I spot Pantene Clinicare series on the shelves when I was browsing through the outlet in Compasspoint because I have heard sooo many raves for it. I love love love LOVE LOVE this hair treatment. My mum loves it too. I gave her 1 tube to to try and she actually asked me to help her buy 1 box the very next day. My mum is a very thrifty and hardworking woman whom I would never imagine forking out $17 for a box of hair product. Bestie also said the treatment works for her. So what does it do? My hair really feels significantly softer and silkier for a couple of days after using the one wash treatment. Amazing stuff. A definite repurchase for me.

Last rave - Heavy Rotation Marker Pen Liquid Liner

This is seriously an excellent eyeliner to have. I bought this for $18.90 in Watsons after being driven to the point of despair by the slow restocking process of MAC superslick liner. And oh boy, I am so NOT lemming for the MAC liner now. The marker is so easy to use! The colour of the liner is really dark and the tip dispense the right amount of product (not too little, not too much). I can draw really thick or thin line because it basically performs like a pencil. Lining my eyes has never been easy. I already bought backup for this and I really hope this would not discontinue any time soon. I think I would feel rather devastated!

That's all for now! Thanks for reading~

Ok I am really excited to blog about this so please pardon all my ramblings if I made any ok? You see I had been eyeing this particular item for a couple of months now but I really couldn't bear to splurge on it until today. Ok so pictures first, more stories later ok? Haha!!

Presenting the purchase that sent me over the moon! :)

Miu Miu leather bracelet!

close up

The bf and I were shopping in town today and I confessed to him that I have been eyeing this Miu Miu bracelet ever since I came across its pictures online. I was eyeing the coral one initially. Anyway, the bf insisted that we should take a look at the bracelet in the boutique because (according to him) pictures can sometimes lie. So off we went to the boutique in Paragon and the SA told us that a navy blue one JUST arrive TODAY! I was really disappointed that they do not have the coral one in store but I tried the navy blue one and I really like it! However, I told the SA that I need to think about it and we left the store without buying it.

Well, I am sure all of you understand how a female's brain works right? After I left the store, I kept thinking about how lovely that bracelet is and so (haha) off we went to the store in ion. There we saw the navy blue, a light pink and a grey ones on display. I tried both the navy blue and the light pink bracelets on my wrists, comparing them side by side and I came to the conclusion that I prefer the navy blue one (surprisingly so!). Haha, my card got whipped out from its safe haven and I walked out with an additional pink paper bag.

I am a happy girl. Anyway, while we were out shopping today, we came across this cart, located outside 313 near to the restaurant Bao Jing Tian (Bao Today), which sells really adorable looking handmade teddy bears. On further enquiring, we realised that the stall holder is a social worker and all the goods on display are handmade by the elderly, the disadvantaged and ordinary people including rural folks, homemakers, working mothers from countries like Thailand. The handicrafts on display are really extremely adorable and exquisite and most importantly they have a story to tell. You can find out more information on their website http://teddythotz.blogspot.com and here are 2 pictures of the really cute keychain I bought from the stall today. :)

(Haha I chose tiger because I was born in the year of tiger!)

Isn't the crochet tiger cute?! The keychain cost $9.50. These creatures come in medium and large sizes too. :P I think I will most probably make a trip to the stall to buy a couple more to give my besties. The stall would be available outside 313 on friday (6pm - 11pm), saturday (12pm - 11pm) and sunday (12pm - 10pm) for the month of July. Otherwise, they would be available in Vivocity (near POSB) over the weekends on the 1st and the last week of each month. I am not paid by the stall owner to say any of these. I was simply touched by the passion he displayed while explaining the details to us and so I thought I should share with all the lovely ladies on the onsugar platform. :)

That's all for now and thank you for taking the time to read my entry. :) Have a great and lovely weekend!~

I am back with another lotd. These days I am too lazy to put together really fanciful eotd and instead I favour easy & simple looks like this. I have no idea why but I seem to feel really uninspired. *shrugs* Well, hopefully, I'll recover some of my passion soon.

Here's the look,

Products used:

Face - Rachel K Colour Control Cream & Chanel loose powder in 20 Clair

Eyes -

UDPP
MAC Style Snob [all over lids]
Stage Espresso [outer corner]
Nars Abyssinia [brow highlight]
Heavy Rotation liquid liner in marker style
Dollywink Volume Mascara
MAC Impeccable Brow Pencil in Dirty Blonde

Cheeks & Lips -

MAC Pink Swoon Sheertone Blusher
MAC Mimmy Lipglass

That's it for my lotd. :)

Anyway, I have been trying to expand my wardrobe lately. :P And I made a trip with the BF to Forever 21 to browse and BF spotted this top which I really like.

*Sorry for that droopy shorts. I was wearing a dress and I didn't want to be bottomless when I tried on that top so I grabbed a short that is far too big for me in the store. Haha!*

Well, I really like the top after trying it but I practise a lot of restrain when it comes to clothes. I need to think carefully before every single purchase so I walked out of the store empty-handed but I kept yakking to the bf about it. That night, I made the decision to buy it and so i got my sister to help me buy the top since she would be going to town the next day. Unfortunately (or fortunately), my bf noticed how much I wanted the top and so he went down after work to buy the top for me as a surprise. So after so much rambling, the bottomline is I have 2 identical tops. Haha! As much as I like the top, having 2 identical tops is simply too much so I am selling the one which my sis bought on my behalf.

Details are as follow:
Size: S
Price: $20 (retail at $35)
Condition: Totally brand new as I didn't even try. Tag is still attached to the top.
Leave me a comment, email me at crazy4mac@hotmail.com or pm me if you are interested in the piece. :)

Thanks for reading!~ Til next time~ :)

Hello~

It has been many months since I last blogged. I was busy with work and was in poor health for a while. Haha. But I woke up a couple of days back with a compelling urge to blog. Since I did not have much time to prepare before having to head out to work on that day, I put together a simple look using one of my favorite "new" nars palette and snapped a couple of shot. I came back home eagerly, switch on my laptop, went onto onsugar site, login, type an introduction for my entry, pressed that "Insert Image" button and realised that I cannot post photos!! :(

I waited a couple of a days for the glitch to be resolved but nothing miraculous happened. Haha. Well, I was all prepared to use one of those free image hosting site but once I switched to using raw html, I realised I can add image there! So here's the really simple look.

Products Used:

Face

Rachel K Colour Control Cream

Chanel Loose Powder in 20 Clair

My favourite base combination these days. :P

Eyes

Nars Eyeshadow Duo in Bateau Ivre (I used the periwinkle e/s as an all over wash and pat the purple e/s over to darker the colour, concentrating more products on upper lashline.)

Nars Abyssinia (brow highlight)

Heavy Rotation Black Liquid Eyeliner (in marker pen style) -> This is seriously an awesome product!! I used to swear by MAC superslick in On the Hunt because of its easy application, however, lately I was unable to buy that particular product from MAC because the stock just simple refuse to come in! Arghh. I kept pestering the SA about it and I gave up eventually. So since I HAD to find a replacement, I walked into Watsons, perused the eyeliner shelf, grabbed this and fell in love. Haha!

Dollywink Volume Mascara -> MY major love too!

MAC Impeccable Brow Pencil in Dirty Blonde

Cheeks & Lips

Chanel Espiegle Powder Blush -> Love love this!

Clarins Gloss Appeal in Orchid

That's it and thanks for dropping by!~

More Sleek palettes + a quick lotd + skincare rave

This is going to be another "rojak" entry which includes rambles of all sorts. Haha! A couple of entries back, I mentioned that I finally bought my first sleek palette in Original and because I like that palette so much, I made the decision to try a couple more. So off I went to ask my bestie for help and *tada* I have 2 more Sleek palettes to add to my collection.

As you can see, Sunset & Storm are now happily mingling with my collection of eyeshadows. Haha!

Here are the close-up photos of the 2 palettes.

Sunset Palette

Storm Palette

The moment I set my eyes on the Storm palette in real life, I immediately went "WOW!". This palette contains very gorgeous colours that are wearable. What's more? There are matte e/s in it!!

You must be wondering why am I so excited about those matte e/s so let me bore you with some background knowledge to my makeup preferences. Hahaha! For some unknown reasons, I prefer to place shimmery e/s on the inner part of my lid and complete with matte e/s on the outer corner. However, most of palettes in the market usually contain e/s that are shimmery. Therefore, I am definitely excited to see a few matte browns amidst the other gorgeous shimmery e/s in the Storm palette. Ok, I was so excited that I did a quick eye makeup with it this morning even though I was in a rush.

I first mixed the first 2 e/s (from left) on the top row and applied the mixture to the inner 2/3 of my lids then I applied the matte brown (2nd row, 2nd from right) e/s to the other 1/3 of my lids. These Sleek eyeshadows are really SUPER pigmented. Now I truly understand why so many beauty bloggers or gurus highly recommend them. I only regret not caving in earlier. Hahaha.

Anyway, let's better move onto my skincare rave. A trip to Watsons before Chinese New Year brought on this frenzy craze over this particular brand of sheet masks called LoveMore.

I shall let the pictures do the talking because I am pretty sure some of you may have already caught sight of these while browsing in Watsons.

Haha! I bought 5 out of the 6 types of masks that are available. Now you know just how much I love them, don't you? A box of 5 sheet masks costs $7.90 in Watsons now. Its original retail price is $8.90. The brand also carries 3D masks too but I have yet to venture into that. I especially adore the Diamond White (1st from left in the picture) sheet masks because it gives the longest lasting whitening effect.

All the masks are loaded with very thick serum that I initially thought would leave behind a sticky finish but surprisingly, the serum penetrates through the skin very quickly and my face doesn't feel sticky to the touch. I definitely recommend checking these affordable masks out.

That's all and thanks for reading

Small Haul + LOTD with Smoky Eyes + Others

I guess I should begin by warning all of that this may be a really long entry. Haha. I took plenty of pictures but I was unable to find the time or summon enough energy to post them up. Without further ado, let's begin with something that makes me happy: haul. *grin*

I had to replace my MAC select moisturecover concealor since I am out of concealor so I head down to Tangs during their 12% on thursday. While I was there, the studio finish concealor caught my eyes and since I have heard so many good things about it, I bought it to try. Anyway, I am sure many of you have known this by now, MAC has increased their pricing at the start of this month. Even though, I was aware of it, I was still caught off guard when I found out that all the concealors are retailing at $30 each. Their concealors were previously marked at $27. Nonetheless, I was still willing to pay for them as their moisturecover worked really well for me.

Also, I ordered a tub of Jill Stuart Loose Powder N in 02 Lucent from winkiepinkie about 2 weeks ago. I paid $70 for the LP and I must say that the seller is very prompt and efficient. The product was purchased with my own money and the seller did not pay me to help her advertise so whatever raves I made about her are sincere and genuine. :)  She answered all my queries patiently and exercised plenty of flexibility when I had to make changes for meet-up. Very importantly, I received the LP in excellent condition. I highly recommend checking her site out if you are looking for a reliable spreer to purchase products from Jill Stuart.

Here are some pictures featuring the details of LP.

(Powder blended out.)

I wanted to show you ladies how the LP will look when applied on face and then it struck me that I have not done a basic smoky eyes for the longest time so I quickly put together a lotd with simple smoky eyes.

The products used on face are:

Chanel White Essentiel LF in 05, MAC studio finish concealor in NC15 (undereyes), Jill Stuart LP N in 02 lucent and MAC Personal Style blusher on cheeks (really loving this at the moment).

The products used on eyes are:

UPDD (base), dark navy blue es from Sleek original palette (1st row, 3rd from left) (on outer 2/3 of lids & lower lashline), MAC Electra es (on inner 1/3 of lids & inner lashline), MAC Superslick liner in On the Hunt (upper lashline), MAC Impeccable brow pencil in Dirty Blonde (brows) and Grazer false lashes from Sasa.

I dabbed on a tiny amount of Estee Lauder Pure Colour lipstick in Crystal Coral to complete the look. :)

Moving on, the BF and I went down to NEX because we wanted to try Texas Chicken. While we were there, I spotted a really cute Tokidoki iPhone cover and I just had to get it (even though it was really costly)!

Tada!

Isn't this nice? Haha. I had to fork out $26.90 for it though.

Anyway, I have finally come to the end of my really lengthy post. Thanks for reading til this far. :) Have a fantastic Sunday!
